The Kind’s Eye

Are you:

Searching for the good in the everyday?⠀

Looking for simple ways to make a difference in the lives of others?

Craving a pocket of positivity in the online world or a space to nourish your soul?⠀

Celebrating a random act of kindness?⠀

Longing to connect with likeminded kindness seekers, sighters and advocates?

Welcome to The Kind’s Eye.⠀

I am a firm believer in the power of kindness.  Random acts of kindness in particular fuel me, inspire me and fulfil me – whether I’m contributing them, receiving them, or simply sighting them in the world.

There is a lot of research that supports the benefits of kindness, too.  Studies have shown that performing, receiving or witnessing kindness decreases stress, anxiety, pain, blood pressure, sadness and depression and increases energy, happiness, love and serotonin production (the feel-good chemical!).  Kindness has even been shown to increase the human lifespan!

You can learn more about the science of kindness in this video from the amazing folx over at the Random Act of Kindness Foundation:

The Kind’s Eye is an integral part of my commitment to promoting and advocating for all things kind and to recognising, sharing and championing light.  It is designed to fuel the soul, highlight the good and inspire the kind.  And I think you are those things.

How you can get involved…

1. Jump over and follow @thekindseye on Instagram to  join our communal kindness haven.

You can see the latest from the feed, below.

2. Share your kindness stories and sightings by either tagging @thekindseye on your instagram post, emailing thekindseye@heartsparks.com.au directly (I’d love to hear from you!), or letting me know here with the quote “this is my kind’s eye” in your message.  Please don’t forget to let me know where you saw the act of kindness take place if you would like it to be featured on The Kind’s Eye.

3. Perform a random act of kindness for a stranger.  If you’re not sure what to do or where to start, you can find 60 of my favourite ideas here.  Most of them are completely free and every one of them has the potential to powerfully uplift another person.

From little things, big things grow. ⠀
Let’s grow more kindness together.
