I was beyond excited to begin coaching with Jo as she is someone I deeply respect and admire. Support from a coach is exactly what I needed to make sense of everything and Jo and I just clicked. She understands my complexity, layers and nuance and is able to hold space in a way that allows things to safely unfold for me.

When I first connected with Jo for coaching I was feel overwhelmed in my business, lacking clarity and order and also lacking confidence in my voice. I wanted to explore how I can use and express my voice as I was struggling to articulate my thoughts. I was feeling really stuck in this area and caught up in how I thought I should be as a coach.

The biggest change I’ve witnessed in myself is that I have so much more trust and belief in myself and my business, more confidence and feel more grounded in my values. Jo makes me feel safe, seen and heard in such a deep way. I definitely felt held in the most loving and supportive hands during our time together, which was enlightening.

I first reached out to Jo because I was struggling to find balance between the many hats I juggle. I tended to put my needs last and ended up feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and depleted. I knew the mental overwhelm of trying to do everything and be everything all at once was not sustainable and I needed someone compassionate and objective to disentangle me from my never-ending to-do list. I also needed help in establishing my coaching business and was in need of Jo’s guidance and expertise. I knew Jo was very intuitive and successful in her business and in working with her I was hoping to learn to find the rhythm of working/creating/serving that is in tune with me, the way she did for herself.

To be honest, going into the first session I was nervous around the vulnerability and transparency that I thought was required of me from the get-go. Once our session started though, this fear flew out the window entirely and I ended up sharing my experiences and hopes with Jo with no hesitation.

Jo helped me let go of the “shoulds” that have been directing my life. She gave me room to see alternate ways of doing things that I have never thought of before. The goals I set with Jo have been the vehicles to me seeing clearly not only that I’m in the right path, but also how I need to be operating now, with all the changes that have occurred in my life. I’ve successfully incorporated the many roles I play into who I am as a whole, as opposed to compartmentalising them and switching personalities depending on which hat I am wearing. Through Jo’s guidance, I’ve also started to be in tune to finding ways of showing up in the world that are more easeful and intentional, as opposed to forced and draining. When my heart is full, it ripples out to everything that I do.

Jo has been a coach, mentor, and friend during our time together. I’m deeply grateful and I couldn’t have asked for more.

Working with Jo was profoundly life changing. I had high expectations of what it would be like having seen her speak as my trainer through the Beautiful You Life Coaching Academy Coaching course and I was definitely not disappointed. There was nothing that could have improved my coaching experience. Our time together has been motivating, healing and helpful.

When I first connected with Jo for coaching I was feeling overwhelmed and lost about my work and my personal life, wanting support with my career direction and relationships. By the end of our first session together I was excited. I knew Jo would have an intersectional approach and also have great business knowledge.

From working with Jo I’m now taking control of my life and I have more confidence in who I am and what I have to offer the world. When I first connected with Jo I felt her energy, which was gentle, loving, authentic, grounded and ethical. It was that which made me decide to work with her. I trusted that it would be safe for me to be vulnerable and open with her, and that I wouldn’t be judged by her. I wanted someone who could hold space for me and someone who had experience as both a therapist and coach, since I was feeling lots of fear and anxiety at the time.

After our first session, I knew more than ever that Jo was the right coach for me. The way she worked with me felt like a natural unfolding rather than a forceful way to get somewhere. I am pretty sensitive to people’s energies and every time I was in her presence, I felt her energy helping me find my centre and find my intuition more easily than I could on my own. Since my work with Jo I rarely ever feel fear now. I feel more at ease, more grounded, and more safe. I am trusting my intuition more and also being more ok and less anxiety-ridden with the unknown because I know that I will be ok and no matter what, can get back on my feet.

I feel less of a need to impress and feel more comfortable just being who I am, no longer hiding my emotions. My whole body feels pain free most of the time now (a first for me!), and my energy feels more settled and relaxed. I’m sooo grateful for this. My relationships feel more harmonious and I am more brave to voice how I’m feeling in relation to others, even if it’s a difficult conversation.

One of my favorite things about working with Jo is that she gave me the space to find my own answers so that I could learn to listen to my own intuition and trust it more. This helped me learn to keep my power and act from it rather than give my power away by listening to someone else’s suggestions or advice all the time.

Best of all, Jo gave me the gift of unconditional love. Even though she saw me struggling with fear, anxiety and doubts, she still saw the best in me and showed up for me wholeheartedly. Because of this, I am now more comfortable being myself and showing all parts of myself to others.

My biggest change from coaching with Jo has been the internal sense of peace I’ve embodied. I’m able to really grasp the grandness that is my life right now, that I had been missing out on because I was so focused on what I have not yet achieved. Working with Jo has led me to feel more grounded, more connected, more free, more spacious, more joyful, more held and more ME. Pretty much everything has shifted — for the better — as a result of coaching with Jo.

When we first connected, I was despondent and very pessimistic about ever feeling freedom or joy. I wanted to make some kind of goals that I could believe in and work towards… but was skeptical that they’d really work.

I knew Jo would be exactly the right person to work with for an authentic and meaningful exchange. I wasn’t really sure what to expect of working with Jo though I figured it would be about integrity, compassion and no BS. I changed so much during my time with Jo that even my goals changed! I am very happy with what I have achieved during our time together and she supported me beautifully. I had been wanting to feel more vibrant and confident and reached out to Jo because I knew she was very experienced.

I’m now super focused on feeling well in terms of everything that surrounds me — my habits, experiences, and even where I live. (I chose to spend winter in a different country, just to feel good!)

When I began working with Jo I was feeling frustrated, disappointed and conflicted, resisting the changes in my life and feeling sadness about the many things going on and rising to the surface in the world. I was feeling so stuck before coaching with Jo and I honestly just feel like a new person now! I was pretty nervous going into my first session and didn’t know what to expect, but I knew I’d be safe in Jo’s hands and by the end of that first session a lot became clear for me. I love speaking to groups and seeing the realisation of new ideas and change through group facilitation. I wanted to capitalise on my TEDx Talk and to establish myself as a speaker, but did not know where or how to start. I will absolutely do things differently moving forward after my Huddle. I had several light bulb moments, lots to process and things I can adapt and change.

I have acknowledged my areas of growth, I feel confident enough to not hide and I’m now aligning my standards with the standards I seek.
